DESCRIPTION:Sebastian Staacks will give a talk about using smartphone sensors for physics experiments the 36th Chaos Communication Congress in Leipzig. Since the 36c3 is one of the biggest\nhacker congresses (17\,000 visitors) about technology\, security and related politics\, the focus of this talk will be slightly different than most of our events. In this case\, the talk will focus less on teaching (besides giving a context for our work) while giving more insights into smartphone sensors and technology. \nThe congress starts on 27th December 2019 lasting four days until 30th December 2019. The talk will take place on the first day (Friday\, 27th December) at 2:10 pm in lecture hall “Eliza”. Details can be found in the event’s schedule (“Fahrplan”). \nA great thing about this congress is that all talks are streamed live at https://streaming.media.ccc.de/36c3 with options to ask questions from the web. Shortly after the talk (often on the same day)\, it will also be available at https://media.ccc.de/c/36c3. In the past the recordings even featured English\, German and French audio tracks\, so even though this talk will be given in English\, this might be an interesting one to watch for a broad audience.

DESCRIPTION:Nachdem wir in den vergangenen Jahren selbstverständlich auf den Frühjahrstagungen der DPG vertreten waren\, sind wir in diesem Jahr\, in welchem die Tagung vor unserer Haustüre in Aachen stattfindet\, natürlich erst recht dabei:\nAm Dienstag (26.3.2019) stellt Dominik Dorsel in seinem Vortrag eine kreative Methode vor um Geschwindigkeiten mithilfe des Drucksensors im Smartphone zu bestimmen. Am Mittwoch (27.3.2019) wird Sebastian Staacks in einem weiteren Vortrag unsere Erfahrungen und das Feedback von Lehrkräften aus der Schule zum Einsatz unserer App vorstellen und etwas später wird Simon Hütz in seinem Vortrag in einer anderen Session seine Ergebnisse präsentieren\, inwiefern Studierende mit Experimentiersets motiviert werden können\, vorlesungsbegleitende Experimentieraufgaben (mit phyphox) durchzuführen.
