I use the Camera Stopwatch Color to measure RPM of pulleys by placing a piece of blue tape on the pulley then measuring between 2 peaks inverting the time and multiplying by 60. It would be great if there was a way to automate this for realtime measurements.

If I am understanding you correctly you want phyphox to automaticallydo the time inversion and multiplication by 60. This should be possible to achieve with the phyphox editor (https://phyphox.org/editor/). If you need assistance with that you can write us an email at contact@phyphox.org.
Have you tried “Camera Spectrum: Brightness”? RPM is shown at the top. It works surprisingly well even with rather low contrast. The frequency resolution of the FFT is (acquisition rate)/(number of samples) or 1/(time span used for the FFT) – if that‘s ok…

“Camera Spectrum: Color” could also be implemented that way, however, the title could be really easily misunderstood… Wink
