multiple experiments at the same time

Please take a look at these readings. I've been noticing very strange numbers and waveforms/frequencies when compelled to record some data. This is from someone's residence over the code of 2 nights in spring 2025.. Any input would be appreciated as I'm having a hard time understanding what's going on. There is also data that can be scrolled through in video form from another sensor suite just in case -Thanks again for looking!

Sensors in detected list

Are the sensors in my device not functional because of lacking support or they are not actually what they are detected to be? The 33171016 / BU52053NVX hall effect sensor is disused.

b. Do all the sensors have an experiment associated with them? Someone is sure to find an application if they were accessible. Step, guestures, pedometer, motion accel, tilt, RMD, AMD(relative/absolute motion detector)… the custom experiment option does not even list these (maybe the generic/preexisting techniques to activate+read will be sufficient? Even for the hall?).

c. there are 44 temperature sensors inside the device ("Temp. Monitor" app), not that practical (thermal cycles could reduce device lifespan), but, if usb devices add then we could have temp too. We just need to be alerted if any get attached (my usb sticks dont add).

has share/rename/delete, and when opened I only have "experiment info" which has only generic sensor comment.

The menu is lacking a "details" option.
details on form:

experiment date
experiment recorded (total) length
experiment section (pause) lengths
experiment events (notes on events/periods, permit jumps to place in experiment)
[experiment notes (general notes)]
sample rate (per sensor)
stored size
device model
[archive option?]

Hi Jens,
is there any particular reason why you don't let the user to input a sigma value <1 in the editor? Somewhere else in this forum I asked for a Butterworth filter and I might find something similar to it: I read that the Gaussian filter is basically a low-pass filter (what I'm looking for) where the cutoff frequency can be controlled by setting the sigma value so that:

A 3.5 Hz (the cutoff I'd like to use) would then require a sigma value less than 1....that's why I'm asking.

Zephyr Library for PhyPhox

Dear all,

after some issues with loggin into this forum I finally managed to get back in.

As I have been working with Zephyr on some BLE projects at the FH Aachen we have had the need to develop quickly some front ends. Instead of developing our apps we decided to use phyphox to transmit simple data from our sensors and some Industrial protocols

As I found my self copying and pasting the same code for the phyphox part I decided to make a library so I can use it for any project. The code can be found here https://github.com/vChavezB/zephyr_phyphox-ble

Any feedback and ideas are welcomed.

I was wondering how to get the source code of the doppler effect experiment on the ios version. I'm trying to put it in my own app so I can analyze the data in real-time and this new app will then perform a specific function. Is this possible?

axis/pole orientation

Along which axis and in which direction (positive/negative) are the magnetic poles represented?

I would assume either y or z in the positive direction to be polar North, if there is a convention for this, I've forgotten it.
--I did see the axis orientation in relation to the phone screen where +y points to the top, +x points right, and +z is orthogonal to its surface.

This is a request really. Would it be possible for the videos of the talks given by Sebastian or other representative to be dubbed in English or to have English subtitles? The talk I have viewed which was given in English was really interesting and I would like to view more but don't speak German.

Dear Friends,

I would REALLY appreciate your feedback on the below:

1. How can I know what frequencies the iphone 10 or in general typical smartphones can detect using the magnetometer?

What frequencies? What wavelengths in centimeters?

2. How would/could we use the magnetometer as a "telescope" to observe space and determine structures of planets and their composition?

(I have some ideas - and would love to hear yours!)
