Wrong Unit in "Zentripetalbeschleunigung"
#1
Hi there,

thanks for your great app. I have just a small bug to report. Isn't there a wrong unit in "Zentripetalbeschleunigung" -> "Quadratische Auftragung"? I think it should be "(rad/s)^2" instead of "(rad/s^2)".

Greetings

Good catch! … and a pretty ancient bug that I definitely should have spotted earlier having done this experiment sort of 8000 times.

It has been introduced in two stages in 2018:

It's actually more embarassing: There has been an attempt to fix it, at which I instead messed up the "y per x" unit (visible when getting the slope of data on that graph): https://github.com/phyphox/phyphox-exper...176644d43e

However, just last week the issue was reported and the fix is already in place for the next release (https://github.com/phyphox/phyphox-exper...0492d73018). Quite a coincidence to have two reports of this old bug within a week.

That's a different graph, so less embarrassing… Wink

As for releases: the test versions for all platforms are (over)due in spring. We will announce it in the news section as it is quite a leap for the phyphox app (camera!) that needs heavily put through its paces. If it works ok, there should be a release in late summer…
