Using phyphox as a simple oscilloscope

Hi all,

has anyone ever tried to use phyphox as a simple oscilloscope for external electrical signals?

I could imagine two possibilities:
  • Using the phone's microphone or audio input and connecting an
    external signal through a suitable protection circuit.
  • Using something like an Arduino or ESP32 to measure the signal
    and send the values to phyphox.

I’m mainly interested in whether this works well enough for simple experiments,
for example with sine waves, square waves, resistor-capacitor circuits, oscillators or induction.

For the microcontroller version, I’m also wondering how fast values can be sent to phyphox and
whether it would be possible to collect some first and then send them together.

Has anyone tried something similar or has an ideas?
