Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for looking into it so quickly! What you describe looks very much like something which would produce what I observed, sounds good to me. I do not need a quick version, I can wait for the next release: I can avoid this feature by checking the time and only allowing a not empty data after "a certain amount of time" has passed, which will get rid of this unwanted communication. An ugly hack, but it should work. Thank you for asking, that is thoughtful. I will need to not forget to test it again after the next phyphox release, else wise the ugly hack may stay forever...
