Audio based tachometer
#1
I just got finished adapting the default "Audio Spectrum" experiment to be able to measure the RPM of spinning objects that have a fix number of distinct sound pulses per revolution, such as the classic playing card in the spokes if a bicycle wheel. The number of pulses per revolution is adjustable in the experiment. I didn't change to much from the source, other than removing the bit about music notes. At first I tried to base this off of the Audio auto-correlation experiment, however that didn't work as well in my testing.
