Camera counting

can the camera be used to count objects going by?

• maybe tally the reds/greens
  
• maybe include speed statistic (pix/sec)
  
• with manual focus (i hope), and image row select.
  

to start out

• even if its just a count of beam breakages
  

cameras may have interleaved colours on one axis, the other may be ultimately easier
edt: will need custom exposures for flexible capture rates (adds tearing)
