36th Chaos Communication Congress (36c3) in Leipzig

Sebastian Staacks will give a talk about using smartphone sensors for physics experiments the 36th Chaos Communication Congress in Leipzig. Since the 36c3 is one of the biggest
hacker congresses (17,000 visitors) about technology, security and related politics, the focus of this talk will be slightly different than most of our events. In this case, the talk will focus less on teaching (besides giving a context for our work) while giving more insights into smartphone sensors and technology.
The congress starts on 27th December 2019 lasting four days until 30th December 2019. The talk will take place on the first day (Friday, 27th December) at 2:10 pm in lecture hall “Eliza”. Details can be found in the event’s schedule (“Fahrplan”).
A great thing about this congress is that all talks are streamed live at https://streaming.media.ccc.de/36c3 with options to ask questions from the web. Shortly after the talk (often on the same day), it will also be available at https://media.ccc.de/c/36c3. In the past the recordings even featured English, German and French audio tracks, so even though this talk will be given in English, this might be an interesting one to watch for a broad audience.
